How many of you spend an absolute fortune buying face masks, body scrubs and hair treatments that promise to make you better looking actually doesn’t really work? Today I’m taking you back to basics by using natural ingredient that we all have in our own home and plus these are super cheap!
Face masks for acnes & blackheads
Combine 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1/4 cup of lemon juice in a cup. mix until the ingredients are evenly blended, and then apply the scrub to your just-cleaned skin. Massage the skin gently with your fingers, concentrating on dry patches or problem areas. Let the mask soak in for 10 minutes, and then rinse with cold water.
Not only it will help you getting less acne & blackheads but also will lighter the acne spots.
Here’s another masks that I love and you’ll see the difference just after the first application!
Mix equal parts nutmeg and cinnamon into a bowl (1-2 tablespoons). Add 1-2 tablespoons of organic honey and mix into a paste. Massage on your clean skin and chill out for 30 minutes. When you’re ready to rinse, remove by gently rubbing the mask off with cold water.
It’s a very good treatment for acne-prone skin it’s calming, antibacterial, reducing inflammation and appearance of spots. After doing one of those mask I always moisturize my skin with coconut oil.
Coconut scrub & hair treatment
Mix 2 cups of coconut oil with 1 cup of salt and use it as a body scrub, hand scrub or foot scrub. The salt gently exfoliates the skin and the coconut oil leaves your skin feeling baby soft!
I also use coconut oil for my hair,it will give your hair a silky texture and tons of shine. I use it as a hair mask. Take about 3 to 5 tablespoons of coconut oil in a bowl and put it in the microwave, so that it’s a warm liquid. Then, apply it to your hair as you would any hair mask. Put on a plastic shower cap or wrap an towel around your head, and leave the oil in while you sleep. When you wake up, wash your hair and discover the new shine of your hair!
I tried all of those treatment, I do them on Sunday, on my cocooning day and it definitely works better than any commercial treatment!
